The Prayer Covenant invites children to experience prayer in a whole new way! Jesus welcomes them into the presence of their loving Heavenly Father—reminding them that His love never ends and His ears are always open to hear from them.
Through engaging media, fun games, creative crafts, heartfelt worship, inspiring Bible stories, and of course—lots of prayer—children will explore what it means to walk and talk with Jesus every day.
Step by step, line by line, they’ll journey through the Prayer Covenant prayer, discovering the building blocks of prayer and growing in friendship with Jesus. Each lesson connects a Bible story to a simple Prayer Point, helping children see how God’s Word shapes their conversations with Him.
What are the lessons like?
You’ll find two inspiring series to help children grow in prayer: The Prayer Covenant for Preschoolers and The Prayer Covenant for Children—each one thoughtfully designed for their unique age and stage.
No matter which series you choose, every lesson is packed with engaging, Jesus-centered content to help children experience the joy of prayer:
Prepare - Start with a leader’s devotional and a big-picture overview to ground your heart and mind before teaching.
Engage - Kick things off with worship and an introduction to prayer. Preschoolers will love playtime and fun videos that help them connect with God in ways they understand.
Discover - Dive into Scripture through engaging videos, interactive storytelling, and exciting games that bring the Bible to life.
Explore - Discover joyful, hands-on activities—like prayer, songs, snacks, crafts, and games—that help children connect today’s Bible story to their everyday lives and grow in God’s love!
Connect - Explore meaningful ways to wrap up the lesson—like a card, a coloring page and, for older kids, a Send Off video—to help children and families carry today’s Bible story from church into their homes and hearts!
