Explore the Bible – on and off screen! – with vibrant visuals and laugh out loud storytelling. Then dive into activities designed to help kids learn God’s Big Story and Big Bible Truth as they discover how it connects to their everyday lives.
Laugh and Grow Bible curriculum is designed with children’s church, Sunday school, and midweek programs in mind – and could also be used for a Christian school’s Bible class!
Beginning with God’s Big Story, a specific story is chosen, and this sets up a Big Idea. A Big Bible Truth is a key verse selected that ties into the Big Idea. Kids will discover how all of this connects to their everyday lives.
What are the lessons like?
The Laugh and Grow Bible lessons comprise the following activities:
GATHER: A brief intro activity that gets kids engaged.
LAUGH: A fun activity that helps build community and curiosity around the Big Idea.
WATCH: A video that focuses in on one story from God’s Big Story.
CONNECT: A time to help kids digest the story, ask questions, and discuss.
REMEMBER: A time to learn the Big Bible Truth (memory verse) together.
GROW: An activity – sometimes craft, sometimes game – that encourages kids to consider how all of this connects to their everyday lives.
TRUTH THAT GROWS: An extended version of the Big Idea that encourages further discovery.
PRAY: A prayer time together.
TAKE-IT-HOME: resources for at-home discipleship and fun!
CURRICULUM GUIDE
Laugh and Grow Bible will have over a dozen series being unveiled over the next year.
EASTER: From the miracles he performed, the things he taught, and the ultimate sacrifice he made, this series takes a journey from Jesus' ministry through to his death and resurrection. Kids will hear the good news message of Jesus and learn why Jesus came to earth to be our Savior and our friend in this Laugh and Grow Bible Easter series.
