Bible Time

Little Worship Company’s Bible Time curriculum introduces God’s littlest children to God’s big book, the Bible!

Using the delightful and engaging Bible Time videos, these lessons help children aged 0-6 explore stories from Scripture and encounter the loving Heavenly Father that they reveal.

What are the lessons like?

Bible Time lessons comprise the following sections:

• Welcome – Welcome the children to the lesson and introduce the day’s theme.

• Teaching – This section provides the core learning for the lesson (Little Big Idea). It includes an opening discussion question, an illustration to introduce the lesson's teaching, a Bible Time video, and a template message for how you might choose to explain the key learning concept, which can be adapted for your unique context and audience.

• Group Time – This section contains a suggested activity that allows children to respond to or further explore key concepts outlined in the Little Big Idea – for example, through creative prayer, small group discussion or practical action.

• Craft – Each lesson contains two suggested craft activities and a free play idea which serve as a reminder of the lesson's key learning. Choose one or more activity to run with your group.

Content example: This Bible Time video tells the story Jesus told about a man on the road to Jericho and an unexpected helper.

CURRICULUM GUIDE

There are six Bible Time series on the RaiseUpFaith platform:

Series 1: Hello, Jesus! (4 lessons): Introduce children to stories from the life and ministry of Jesus, while encouraging them on their own journey towards the Jesus who knows and loves them today.

Series 2: WOW, Jesus! (3 lessons): We look at some of Jesus’ miracles and what they tell us about who he is. We'll explore Jesus’ calming power over nature as well as His amazing love for people, discovering how Jesus’ miracles point us towards our amazing God who still shows His love and power today.

Series 3: Friends of God (4 lessons): Explore stories of Jesus that show us what it means to be God’s friend. Discover that each one of us is special to God, looked after and infinitely loved by Him – and how being God’s friend is the greatest treasure in the world!

Series 4: David (3 lessons): We discover three different stories about a character from the Bible called David and think about what they teach us about living for God.

Series 5: Pentecost (1 lesson): Follow the disciples on a very special day where they experience God in a new way. In turn, this starts the growth of the church so we can say ‘Happy Birthday, Church!’

Series 6: Prophets (4 lessons): Introduce children to some special friends of God: four prophets who listened carefully to what God had to say. We explore their stories and discover what they show us about God’s BIG heart – for them and the people they met, and also for us today.

Especially for your smallest children, we’ve put together ten shorter lessons.

Little Bible Times Devotionals: Watch a Bible story and explore what it tells us about God and His big love for us. Each lesson lasts about 20 minutes and includes a Bible story video, simple message, discussion questions and a closing prayer.
